Who Are MEDfacials?
Based in Lemon Street (14/15 Lemon Street, Truro, TR1 2LS) in central Truro, at MEDfacials our experienced team of doctors and aesthetic practitioners deliver safe, targeted and effective aesthetic and skincare treatments to clients across Cornwall, the South West and beyond, such as IPL laser hair removal, ProMax lipo, Tixel, chemical peels, dermal fillers, Botox, PDO facelifts and other skin care procedures.

Our Team
Dr Joachim Stolte
Dr Stolte has over 18 years’ experience in Medicine and holds a degree in Aesthetic Medicine (with Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London. He is a trainer for Botox or other Botulinum toxin agents and Dermal fillers in Cornwall.
All of his previous and ongoing training is completed alongside leaders in the Aesthetic Medicine field and he is Harley Street trained.
Alongside his continued Cornish GP duties, Dr Stolte leads the MEDfacials clinic; he is extremely passionate about providing a trusted, holistic approach to your skincare needs to ensure every concern is treated with discretion, professionalism, and effective aesthetic solutions in Truro, Cornwall.
Nurse Jane Broom
With a decade of nursing experience in a range of medical and surgical disciplines, Nurse Jane brings together her clinical experience and cosmetic specialist training and experience to provide bespoke treatments, including anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and anti-ageing treatments.
Nurse Jane has worked alongside Dr Stolte for the past year. She is passionate about providing natural looking results and providing people with the best possible treatment options. Very supportive, she really takes the time to understand her patients’ needs. From the initial consultation to treatment to post-treatment care and advice, Nurse Jane helps everyone to achieve the results they desire as part of fully-tailored services.
Nurse Jane is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the month, as well as one Saturday a month.
Tracy King
Tracy joined us as an Advanced Beauty Therapist Level 3.
She has trained in Cornwall and under Dr Stolte and specialises in Hydrafacial, iS clinical facials and peels, ProMax Lipo, Tixel, Mesotherapy, PlasmaPro, IPL, Laser and hyperpigmentation treatments, Skinpen microneedling and is fully trained in iS Clinical skin care products and facials.
Tracy’s wide skill-base means she is able to guide you and support you in finding the complete skin care routine that will provide the best results for you.
Tracy is available for appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday throughout the month.
Poonam
Poonam is a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse, currently working under the expert guidance of Dr. Stolte at MEDfacials. With over six years of experience in Aesthetic Medicine, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for delivering safe, effective, and personalised care.
Her aesthetic journey began at the prestigious Harley Academy in London, where she earned a postgraduate Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. This rigorous qualification combines in-depth theoretical learning with evidence-based practical training in injectable techniques.
Poonam specialises in anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and skin health optimisation. Known for her warm and thoughtful approach, she takes pride in supporting clients through every stage of their aesthetic journey—creating bespoke treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and natural beauty.
