Our clinic is one of a handful in the UK to now offer a combination of Mesotherapy & PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapies, combined with low level laser treatment and (where needed) medications that have been clinically proven to be effective against hair loss in both men and women.
Mesotherapy Treatment
Mesotherapy works for the scalp in the same way it does for the face and body; a rich cocktail of minerals, amino acids, vitamins and enzymes are injected into the scalp at the point where the tissues of skin are found. Blood circulation is increased, which helps to prevent further hair breakage and boosts new hair follicles to grow.
PRP Treatment
In PRP Therapy, blood is taken from the patient, processed and then the plasma-rich platelets are re-injected back into the scalp. Pain is usually minimal but a local anaesthetic can be used to further minimise discomfort. PRP (also known as Vampire Therapy!) has been shown to increase hair count, improve the thickness of the hair and boost the growth phase of the hair cycle.
Unlike traditional hair transplant surgery, there is minimal downtime and patients can return to their normal activities immediately after their visit.
