Tixel Treatment
Tixel will rejuvenate, resurface and tighten your skin. This award winning procedure treats fine lines, sun damaged skin, skin discolouration, acne scars and also allows topical products to be absorbed more effectively. Tixel has similar results to the CO2 laser, but without the downtime associated with laser treatment.
What is Tixel For?
If you are concerned about crows feet, skin discolouration, old scars from acne, then Tixel might be for you.
Tixel can also be used on other areas, such as the back of hands, the abdomen or chest (decollete).
What does Tixel do?
Tiny heated cones come into contact with the area concerned for just a few milliseconds. This has the effect of destroying damaged cells, stimulating collagen, tightening the skin and allows for deeper penetration of youth activating serums.
Most people start to see results after just one treatment but need a recommended course of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, with lasting improvement in skin tightness and tone for up to 12-24 months. As new collagen formation generally takes 3-6 months, Dr Stolte advises a course of 3 treatments spaced 4 -5 weekly, with a review at 3 months after the 3rd treatment to appreciate the final result of 3 treatments. More sessions can then be planned based on individual results.

I was very pleased with how the removal of my seborrheic keratosis, a large skin lesion, was done and can honestly say that no pain was felt, nor was anything rushed. Dr. Joe listened to what I had to say concerning the lesion and advised me as to how it was going to be removed. Tracy actually did the removal, which she did really well and I felt no pain whatsoever. I was talked through as to what was happening and the end result I am very satisfied with.
