Thermavein® is now available in Truro, Cornwall. Our treatment is a safe, permanent treatment for 'thread' or 'spider' veins. There's no need for bandages or repeat visits, because the very fine needle used with Thermavein® treatment gently joins the two walls of each individual vein with instant and effective results. This is called Thermo-coagulation. This type of treatment also means that there is no scarring or bruising.
Unlike laser treatment, Thermavein® won't cause loss of pigmentation because only the vein is treated, rather than the area around it.

Is it safe?
Thermavein® has been shown to be extremely safe and effective because it only targets the vein rather than the surrounding area.
How long will the treatment last?
The treatment itself is very quick at about 10-15 minutes. However, we always medically assess all of our clients, so you should allow about 45 minutes for your treatment.
What is the recovery time?
The results of the treatment are instant. There is no need for bandaging - you can just get on with your day.
What is the best treatment for thread veins?
There are several options for thread veins including laser and IPL. However these can often be damaging to the surrounding tissue and may need repeated treatment. Thermavein® is a once only, highly targeted treatment which 'heat' seals the veins which makes them disappear.
What else does Thermavein® treat?
Thermavein is also able to treat Cherry spots (Cherry angiomas), warts (the probe kills off the wart virus) and skin tags.
