Thinning, weak hair, exposed scalp areas or excessive hair loss can be a concern for many people and there is a perceived social stigma attached to baldness which can lead to a drop in confidence. It is believed that 1 in 3 women suffer from thinning hair during their lives and up to 70% of women over 70 experience a hereditary form of hair loss. The causes or hair loss are numerous and can be linked to genetic tendencies, hormonal changes, a result of a medical condition, severe stress or caused by a deficiency in your diet such as a lack of iron or B12 or an imbalance of thyroid hormones etc.
Mesotherapy for the scalp works in the same way as it does for the face and body; a rich cocktail of minerals, amino acids, vitamins and enzymes are injected into the scalp at the point where the tissues of skin are found.
Blood circulation is increased in the scalp, which helps to prevent further hair breakage and new hair follicles are stimulated to grow with the injection of essential nutrients. One of the benefits of this treatment is minimal downtime and you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment.

I was very pleased with how the removal of my seborrheic keratosis, a large skin lesion, was done and can honestly say that no pain was felt, nor was anything rushed. Dr. Joe listened to what I had to say concerning the lesion and advised me as to how it was going to be removed. Tracy actually did the removal, which she did really well and I felt no pain whatsoever. I was talked through as to what was happening and the end result I am very satisfied with.
